In the first 30 min of the Alamo Sam Houston gets in a argument with the council about the fight of Texas . Then Lieutenant curnal Travis gets divorced so he can fight for the Alamo and get land in Texas the he get left encharged of the army of men at the Alamo
In the beginning of the movie The Alamo, Sam Houston is at a party. He is attempting to get people to move to Texas. Houston is an immigrant to Texas. He becomes the leader of the army. Houston is left to be in charge of the men in the army in The Alamo.
Sam Houston attends a party where he tries to persuade people to migrate to Texas. Travis and his wife divorce so he can start a new life and fight in the Alamo. Colonel James Neil tells Travis that he will be in command of the Texas Army regulars while he is away. Then there is a democratic vote on who should be in command, Travis or some regular. The regular had more votes, but Travis tells him he can command the militia only.
in the Alamo, we were introduced to three characters. There names were Sam Houston,Davie Crokett and Kernal Travis. In one of the scenes, Kernal Travis was fighting over who should be head of the militia with another volunteer who also wants to be head of the militia. Also then when they went to go to war or a battle, Kernal Travis left his wife and he kept his son and his daughter with his mom. While he was at war, he left his son with family friends.
